You have Lidl, Aldi and Rewe all within a very short walk.
Lidl and Aldi for the food and Rewe for drink would be my recommendation. The 2 nearest Italians are very cheap - wander down to Pinocchios if you like a bigger pizza - They're mahoosive for the money.

5 weeks to go!!!

Well it is very nearly

4 weeks 6 days to go now!! Not that I am counting??

Out of interest has everyone one the trip got a SES club T shirt or hoody??

If you have not it would be rather nice if you could order your shirt for the Saturday night meal.

You can order club merchandise from here:

Think Jo and I may need to order new t shirts, the Wagon name was a short sighted decision by the looks of it. Any non rude suggestions for a new name?

No Ring sticker for you then.

Passenger lap no props, or you could follow me round on a very slow sighting lap..

You can't drive all that way and not go round the Ring, even if its just a slow lap behind someone.

Claire has said she's not coming round the circuit as passenger this year so I expect I'll have an empty seat too.

Agreed. Scotty, you have to do it, even if its just the once. I only did one lap but it was an awesome experience, and one I will never forget. And, at least you can say you have done it. I went out late on the Friday and it was pretty quiet (apart from BIG E and STEVEPPP clattering past me lol). Just keep an eye on your mirrors and don't go trying to break any records and youl'l have great fun. For me, once I'd done it I was happy to watch the others go around with a beer in my hand!!!

It looks maybe 10mm too low, it's all about the roll centre (drive shafts don't want to point into the ground under the car) clearances might be tight at the front going up and down the ramps to get on tunnel, but should be fine.. It's a lot worse getting on and off ferry's

Definitely got to have a drive round having driven all the way down there Scotty... It's well worth it.

You just need to keep an eye on your mirrors... If you have a passenger to help keep a look out as well it's even better

My car was pretty low but I didn't have any issues with the train (I did book and get on as a high vehicle on the single deck) or the track!

The only other thing I would say is 'E's idea of a slow lap and yours might be a bit different!!!
