Good results.
Peak torque may of shifted a bit to the right but it's generating a fair bit more at the lower rpm then the old setup.

I've never seen a RR plot with such a smooth lambda trace, there must be some serious filtering or low bandwith on that probe.

Mate, thats brilliant news that it's all sorted.

Looks like it might be fairly quick that old thing. I think I might invest in some hooks and rope, as it looks like the only way I'm keeping up with you, is if I'm attached to the back of you!

Really chuffed for you mate

Roll on Germany and some Porker bashing!

Yes mate seen quite a few Scooby's majority of them make less than there ment to. Some make more like Paul Egertons did. Watched an Rs Focus mk2 with a 380bhp atf kit on it cost him over £3k bloke was gutted as it made only 5bhp over stock. It worked out to 315bhp atf.there 310bhp atf std. Then ive seen it go the other way to James own car make 630bhp atw. He was beaten at 30-130 by another gtr with 80bhp atw less? R/R are a good tool for setting up the car. There's nothing better than the old bum dyno though. The Evo as it is now is the fastest car ive owned & out on the road with it today nice & dry its quick enough.
Weather it will make the same figures on a different dyno is another thing?
I'm happy with it power wise unfortunately i'm not happy with the twisty bit's. It's all over the place {or i am} so just need to sort it out again. I think i was at this same point last year.

Hello mate. Apart from the power the only thing that changed was ns f wheel needed towing in a bit. Everything else was spot on? Out today on some of my fav roads i cant get it to do what it did. Just me needing to get in the swing of things again or that extra poke has upset the car?

Update as some know my car had some probs {no fault of the car} This has meant the cars return to JRM. There doing a full engine rebuild to 850bhp spec. I wont run this sort of power its just to make it safe for the power i do run.
Anyway things are looking up as my pistons turned up today. Engine is already stripped. Mike the engine builder has one other to finish then he's on mine. Will update when i know more.

Good news Pistons have turned up. Head is now back together. Short week ahead so maybe the week after & it should be back in the whole & ready for running in/up. It made ish bhp + ftlb torque last time with a sick 2.0 litre engine. So should make same ish figures this time around. Clutch will be busy though {foobard}. Boost will be turned way down for Germany. Good job i have breakdown cover abroad.

Update. My block went away for a re-bore today & should be back on Thursday this week. Head is back together {cars not mine} + a little more safety stuff, all gaskets & bearings are ready. Got a new rad today as mine was damaged. Using a Koyo rad normally for an Evo 6. It moves the top hose further away from the turbo. Under bonnet prep work done + painted my gearbox.

Your not wrong mate. I need this now it means more to me than last year. Just down to time now. It's giving me a right nightmare. James is away & people wont move until he gives the go ahead. Ive been trying to tell them ITS MY CAR I GIVE YOU THE GO AHEAD {not meaning to sound bad} but thing need to move. I took the day off work today just to be down there. I will be back there tomorrow before my night shift to! I want this to happen big time. Ive canceled 1 track day due to this. Germany is now my goal.

Fingers crossed Nige.

I am surprised that people are sitting on their hands a bit there. James gave you his word that it will be done, no questions asked etc. Surely someone else must know the score ( a manager of sorts) , they should be pushing things at a rapid pace really mate.

Mate, you know you have a shed load of people on here who will drop everything to help you if required. Banter apart, we all want you down there with us and not in a half cocked way.

Don't leave things too late to ask for help if you want any. Me personally, I'm ****ing useless mechanically, but I make bloody good coffee for those who who are oil infected, spanner wielding, engine monkeys.

As Steve said, Nige forget the banter, you have to go, Germany without Nige. I dont think so.
You still got a few weeks mate, I guess the sooner its running the better. More time to get a few miles on it, make sure all is good.
After going in it at brands, i am dying to see what sort of time you can get around the ring.

Thanks for the offer's of help people. To be honest there is not allot to do at the moment. There machine for doing re-bores & the drill thingy that dose the business has broken. So the engine block has to be done by another company. The block is now with them. Its meant to be back tomorrow.. Next week Thursday/Friday the engine should be ready to put back in the whole.
