My orange side repeaters kept falling during our convoy trips in Germany so nice new smoked ones fitted today with silvatec bulbs

Funny thing was for two laps of the ring - stayed put!

Drive on motorways - falls out!

Says everything u need to know about my ring speed

Rear has GB and Euro on encase of brexit and front is 3/4

Looks smart, I like the smaller plate on the front, wanted one for mine but I'm not sure on their legality. As my car is used every day I didn't take the chance.

I had a 3/4 size front plate on my old wagon and it was used everyday driving in/out of London and never had a problem, if you use standard font it doesn't look to out of place

I've never had issues with mine used daily for over a year at one point 80miles everywhere, even getting tugged for being naughty the plate was never bought into question...
Come to think of it I never had issues with the wagon with no front plate (it was fitted to the sun-visor inside the windscreen )

Small update - had the oil change on Sat (now have Motul 300v) in there, and standard brembo brake pads all round to help with cold stopping.

Kept the PF-Z's for next years ring trip as they wernt even scored! ha ha

Well mine hardly worked - I know I drive like a pansy but I though I do generate some sort of heat in them.

Anyway kept them for the ring - and next year I'll put the pf's back in..

They did work well at the ring

It was never until I used the PF-Z's on track that I realised the difference between them with a bit of heat in them compared to cold. During normal day driving, which as you know for mine is every day, they certainly don't have the bite from the off that a standard road pad might and do feel a bit meh to begin with, but i guess that's to be expected from a pad which is designed to perform under much harsher conditions.

I bet there are many track specific pads that will make the brakes feel as if they aren't servo assisted!

I found the same with PF's for day-2-day driving. I even think I could feel them go-off when out on a run and they had time to cool.
I much prefer the DS2500's for my usage from cold and for initial bite.

The Pagids I have fitted work very well on the road with really good bite (considering they are supposed to be a track only pad) the only 2 down sides are lots of dust and the price, If money was no object id step to endless pads (but they are very very expensive)

small update - As most of you know I changed the plate on the car towards the latter part of last year. Now personalised to match the Audi, and Laura's Fiesta.

More interesting though is today I have decided to treat the car as it was feeling very unloved, and un-used.

After chatting with the ever helpful Rich at FB Tuning - a portion of my Feb pay has headed to both Roger Clark Motor Sport, and Scooby Clinic. Alyn will also probably be getting a call soon as well for some service bits.

More will be revealed when bits arrive
