The right result to the championship, a shame what happened to Nico's car though.

Yawn.....a wet day at home, the championship decider and it still can't grab my attention.....
I tried.....but it's like watching your kids play scalextric
You spend an hour on the build up assembling the track. Then when the racing starts, after 5 minutes your board, and after 10 minutes so are they........so back in the loft it goes.....

At least in Abu Dhabi you don't keep having to pick the cars up and put them back on the track. There's enough tarmac run off there to land an A380.
Oops...I got that corner wring, no worries I'll just drive over the striped green bits......
.
.
No mate, you cocked up, you should be in the gravel and out.......

Yep, turned out to be boring AGAIN.

If Hamilton's car had the same problems as Rosberg's then we might have seen a better race

Agreed. He did exactly what he had to do and winning 11 races fully deserved it. Pleased jenson did ok too. Would love to see him with a drive next year but will wait and see.

Could be a great team if it all comes together.

Shame it'll be a Spaniard not a Brit on the top step if it does.

Good news about JB, but McLaren could have handled it better. Still baffles me why they would let Alonso back into the fold after what happened last time he was there ...

Great news for JB

Found this today, interested in seeing what they all go for, will have a proper look when more time is available as there seems to be a lot up for auction.

It was a bit of a poor start to the 2015 season with several non starters and only 11 cars finishing. Lewis seemed to manage the race well and Ferrari are back ... let's hope for more racing next time

It'll get better, the first race of the season is often a bit tame.

I've lost all interest in it unfortunately. I've got a feeling a couple of teams may drop out during the season which will be a shame. It's just not what it used to be

Better race today and great to have a challenge to the Mercs. Let's hope for some similar action over the rest of the season.

I wonder if Alonso is regretting his move away from Ferrari yet?

Still boring.... A close race according to the commentators.
8 seconds isn't close.
If Ferrari had stopped again the shoe would be firmly on the other foot.
Their supposed to race on the track not the pit strategy.

If their supposed to be going green with their new ubber dull engines then how does throwing multiple sets of tyres in the skip = green.

One tank of fuel and one set of tyres then we'll see who has the best car/driver package.

Let's see how many touring cars or rally cross cars cross the line next week within 8 seconds.

FiA GT series should have more air time too IMHO but I expect Bernie has had a word to prevent viewers and sponsors moving over to that.

There was some excellent racing lower down the field, right up to the last lap.

I know what you mean and, to an extent, agree. However, full on flat out racing, like rally cross, is only one type of racing.

I enjoy WEC, BTCC and F1 all for very different reasons.

F1 doesn't have quite the attraction it used to in my opinion, but actually, the politics and nonsense has been there for so long that it would be disingenuous for me to look back too much with rose tinted glasses.

As to the green agenda, just look at the air transport involved as well. That is a frustration of mine, definitely!

I'm still enjoying it. Admittedly aus was boring but there was some good racing today. Just wish they sounded like they used to.

I'm quite enjoying the fact that Lewis is winning, Nico just seems to be digging himself a hole by blaming it on every other possible thing except his driving.

Almost back to the old days where no one finished with any of their door mirrors, shame about that waved yellow into the final corner, think there could have been some last gasp moves.

I don't have Murdoch-vision, so will be relying on Channel 4. To be honest, whilst I don't think the coverage will be amazing, the BBC coverage was in decline for a good couple of seasons and was pretty poor by the end in my opinion, so maybe it'll be a breath of fresh air.

I gave up on the BBC Coverage a couple of years ago... Wanting to smack Eddie Jordon in the face with a cricket bat every other Sunday rather took the fun out of watching!!

I kept placing bets on Coultard..

Will he or wont he be wearing white trousers.. the odds where a little stacked.

I hope 4's coverage will be ok, I am not paying the "p1S$ take" prices sky charge for coverage.

I've thought that for a while (from when i've caught bits of it) but i wondered if my opinion was just being skewed having watched it on Sky for the last few years.

To be fair, the Sky coverage is excellent. Martin Brundle is superb and the rest of the team have really grown into it.

That would be the only thing I installed Sky for, so it would have to be!

I utterly abhor Rupert Murdoch, so he'll never get a penny out of me from anything I can control. I realise license fee money goes his way. For example Channel 4 bought the rights to The Simpsons from Fox, so he's had some of my money against my will!

Agreed yes it is and if you want the best coverage of sports f1,premiership,world rally cross, moto gp ,wrc, wwe, ufc, etc etc all the best coverage for sport is on paid to air channels would rather pay more and watch it all then not have it.
