Very much in the car. We were lucky in hindsight.

A local contact in Eastbourne. Wing picked up from cj today (thanks again) 2nd and mirror sourced and into pair next Saturday .

Would like some exhaust noise so may swap the exhaust over. This one I have is good but quiet.....any suggestions and it must pass track noise regs and be 3 inch diameter

replacement wing fitted and sprayed. needs a polish by the painter when the paint has hardened. Just need to buy some little clips that broke from the old wheel arch liner then its back as it was.

Looking good Tim I would zip tie the wheel arch liner

With regards your query earlier about exhausts, I have not been turned down for a trackday with my current system (cobra 3" trackday friendly) or pinged any noise sensors.

Did you fit the fire extinguisher?

soon to be updated with some bits i've been collecting and will be fitted soon.

also picked up a good low mileage replacement gearbox yesterday. thanks to Joe, and Ron for helping pick it up (i owe you brekkie I think)

need to think about clutch options soon but will get a lightened flywheel and short shift at same time no doubt.

Suspension fitted today by Brent. Car feels like new and has an aggressive geo put on. Car is slightly lowered too, so much so that the mudflaps are likely to be taken off.
Possibly the best setup I've had on a car going by the limited driving so far.

Thanks Brent

Thanks Steve. Next up is fit a replacement gearbox I bought off joe. This will have a completion stage 4 clutch, lightened flywheel and short shift fitted at same time.
I need some small bodywork issues sorted at some stage as got a couple of bubbles showing on one rear wheel arch.

I'm doing in stages without the need to use a credit card this time

ordered a couple of bits from rcm including baffled sump

and eventually fitted this clutch to the 2nd hand gearbox i bought. turns out this replacement is even worse than the original and the seller isn't responding....ffs
stage 4 clutch...the one in there was standard at 385hp

anyway decide to go 6 speed now and its ordered

anyone need two grumbly 5 speed gearboxes then you know where I am

That's a bugger Tim. Still a six speed will be nice and that way you only have to do it once... hopefully!.
