JUST A THOUGHT !!!

The hotel does not take payment by card,

Strictly cash only.

I hope this doesn't cause any problems..

It doesn't normally cause a problem though, there's plenty of cashpoints in Adenau or at the Ring complex, or the closest one to the hotel is up the road in Buchel i think (less than 10 mins drive).

I have just spoken to Jacqueline,

everything is looking good.

Apparently they are having crap weather over there at the moment the same as here except more snow.

All payments are to be made at the hotel in CASH at the time of departure..

Yeah, they've certainly had a long run of snow over there. This photo was from today in Nurburg.

Snow has cleared from the circuit at last, although it still looks chuffing freezing over there. This vid was from today's circuit use.

edit/ although no snow left at Wehrseifen. New tarmac sorted here too

Winter's back just as they were getting ready to run the first Touristenfahrten sessions of the year over Easter Photos taken this morning...

Surely its time for winter to bugger off by now!? Today is CarFreitag over there, and normally its a busy Friday bank holiday on the Ring as everyone's off work. Check out all the people at Brunchen about an hour ago, there for the long weekend:

The news on facebook is that they've got snowploughs out and are trying to get the Ring open this afternoon. Expect a lot of people falling off in the slippy conditions, definitely not weather for 888's!

discs/pads/Brake fluid / oil (engine and box + diff), Plugs, Hardrace roll centre kit, wheel arch liner rocker cover gaskets.. (slightly moist so bought 2 kits to replace)

Will be raising the height a little to help with the carousel and a full geometry re-work aswell to boot!!

Hopefully all that should have her tip top for the ring (X fingers)

remap day today, after quickly chucking stuff back together yesterday, i hope it makes it to Slowboy.

i feel an AA call coming on.

still if i get through today i can relax, just need to clean car, make fire extinguisher bracket and sort ADAC cover out. then i think i'm done.

Well it made it, not without issues, new MAF and radiator hose then remap commenced.

Feels pretty pokey now. Do seem to be loosing a small amount of coolant though and Neil seemed to think the intake hose had a small air leak.

oh well, more to do. Getting excited though.

I've only got insurance for Saturday and Sunday on track.

ordered Japspeed intake hose on the advice of Neil at Slowboy.

ARB link bar snapped today as well, was hoping plastic one would hold upto my 27mm rear bar, think I was kidding myself,. only thing is this was a make do until final suspension mod gets added after I got back. Now I may have to either get a bugeye 24mm rear bar, or go to 2004 sti rear lateral arms off a saloon which was my long term plan.
