Cheers guys nothing special really just a few easy bolt on bits.

Shane i had zero issue other than i was tit and wasnt paying 100% to it and slipped off one of the pinch bolts with the socket and chewed the head but i have a set of cool sockets things that deal with chewed heads that i put on and it came off easy, but i did soak them for around a week every other day in Wd40, i replaced the bolts as just habit every thing i undo on this car thats underneath all the fasteners get replaced and cooper slipped back in.

That was my plan, start soaking them now and cross my fingers, the split pin, castle nut, ball joint and suspension arm have become one rusted item so just as well it's all coming off.

Great attention to detail, awesome job you're doing.

What's the info on the wing braces? Not seen them before, I assume they just add additional structural rigidity?

Thanks , the braces just add extra strength to the inner wings. Subaru added a tin brace but these just add that extra bit. Few posts on the Nasioc from guys claiming better turn in feel. I’m still yet to drive the car so no comment from me.
Sti do a version also .

I’ve been wanting a set of clean rad stays for a while as most rust out, finally have a set and removed the red tin ones I had fitted .
Next is a clean oem recirc valve to get the bay back to oem.

I did a quick video , never seem to find quiet system to compare always loud nur specs etc which doesn’t help if trying to reduce the DB. So here’s my poor go at it lol

I moved the oil catch can to the front of the bay in the old air con spot , made a bracket for it.
Reason for moving is going to retro fit a jdm intercooler spray bottle in its place (passenger inner wing), not like the uk cars booted mounted.

Looks very neat. I thought it was only the classics that had the water bottle in the engine bay, my brothers jdm bug sti had the bottle in the boot.

cant recall age but think from MY03> most of the JDM Spec-C's had the large boot mounted tank across the back seats

That’s correct alyn, spec C cars 03> got the larger seat mounted 12L tank.
I’m just doing the stock Sti jdm version only reason over a uk tank saves running wires / pipping all way to the boot . Everything can be done neater using all factory clips and pipes etc just with some wiring needed.
I need to look at some diagrams to work out to use the oem timer for the pump too.

Here’s a google image to show location

Not really ,
1) the cobra rear box failed DB readings i wanted, so i have had to put the prodrive silencer back on to meet the DB level, il sell that back on.

2) i think the rear wheel bearing is starting to go as i get a noise turning left .

3) new drivers arch liner has split of the tab that goes to the bumper some how so annoyed thats broke .

The cooler spray system has arrived ,
Switch , tank , timer relay, and fittings,
I bought a Sti 7 intercooler undertray too with the spray jet and piping too so I can fit it all like factory, just need to make some sort of wiring harness for it all.

Also booked the car in for mapping on the 28th of this month.

Thanks to MB over on s’net supplying all the fastenings and brackets I’ve fitted the jdm intercooler kit in, I’m currently working on a loom off the car to make it all work, but need to source two plugs of a broken car so I can keep it all very oem and plug / play.

Well it’s back up and running again ,
Turbo in , new oil line feed , the undertray on, so she’s ready to be mapped Tuesday..

So I’ve used -
Vf30 billet wheel with extended tips and ported exhaust housing.
Harvey Smith up pipe 44mm
2.5in full decat - Prodrive rear box
Cosworth panel filter
Sti TMIC + scoop/tray
Sti pinks
Walbro pump
Rts clutch /flywheel
Tgv flaps out.

Only basic mods really but hoping 340hp similar torque.

Cars all mapped now , has a nice punch to it , circa mid 300s will be put on the dyno very soon but not to fussed as drives very well.
The brakes and suspension are amazing too little to much for daily but for fun car it’s perfect.

The forge turbo jacket really works you can feel zero heat soak on the TMIC ,

Update.

I have had the car geometry done.
I have to much rear camber atm but camber bolts are on order to dial that all out as I didn’t think it would be that far out and would of been able to jiggle it back but had no luck slacking the bolts and fiddling the rest is fine. The caster could do with being more / equal but I have more plans.

Next thing I’ve sourced a Tsl group n rear box to swap out the Prodrive .

Short terms plans
Fit camber bolts to the rear dial rear camber to -1degree even.
Put arb to middle setting
And go try it all out see how it handles .

Rolling road booked for the 29th..

Tap talk seems to be a pain in up loading pictures now says all to big.
Seems to be making very hard for forums prob why the Facebook group is busy compared to the forum that’s extremely quiet these days.

As Ryan mentioned, I need to look into the tapatalk issue. I suspect it is because the version installed on our forum is out of date and doesn't support the latest version of the mobile app, which everyone gets auto-updated as expected.

In terms of uploading images like on type-ra forum, yes we could do the same - but we then host the content. With the average mobile phone pic being up to 5MB these days, the storage used would quickly grow - and our hosting costs would increase. Type-ra might be fine with that as they probably make income through advertising and sale of goods (i know they have an online shop) but we run neither on SES for various reasons.

Either way, we'll try and sort something

I see now. Hopefully able to sort the Tapatalk app works . Seems Shame to be quiet on here where I gather fb group is easier to upload and quicker.

Update , please note that tap talk is slow so may have problems loading pics ,

So the car was dyno’ed few weeks back and made sod all power which I kinda felt it had been sluggish lately, 310hp 260ft was suspect of a leak somewhere . Many hours searching turned out the nice vf30 billet was the cause so it was returned and options went around which way to go, and I decided to try something different for myself and put it to twinscroll, it’s all built just awaiting a clutch change as believe my new current stage one is causing me some drive train noise, so shall be fitting an exedy this week,
