Yep, there are a few cars on here that would get the same reaction, Scotts, Clives P1, and even your old blob. I guess its because we have all watched them evolve over the years and they have all been done properly.

Nice thing is you can now enjoy two cracking cars.

changed the head unit and am going to check the state of the front speakers to see whether an upgrade is needed today.

Poor excuse for a Stereo in a Scoob. Certainly an area they have cut back on.
Even my 2007 STi sounded ****e.
The crappy cheap French pool cars we use at work (Peugeots) are a million times better, but then they have to provide some sort of entertainment that the driving experience can't provide.

also added the alcons from the wagon to the front and re-instated the OZ stickers to the rims of the wheels

this lot being fitted tomorrow and 2nd hand rear diff (plus new bushes) as we found this to be very worn when brent swapped the brakes

It will also have a geo check and then we should be good for Spa

Some swarf on magnetic plug and sounded worn. I guess it's done 80k miles so fairs fair. I hadn't noticed any problems when driving either

I'm just in the process of having my diff repaired, it was making a grinding noise every so often, turns out it needs the input bearings replaced.

That's a shame to see mate, but its good its just the front corner. When i heard you'd been sideswiped, i feared the worst door/rear quarter damage but looks like you avoided that.

Are the bumper/splitter salvageable with a bit of bodyshop tlc? Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle

Ouch not good tim,i take it and hopefully its just the wing/side light/mirror that needs replacing as bumper/splitter dont look too bad and repairable and take it no damage to wheel/and anything suspension wise????.
Hope you get it sorted out quickly and can get back to enjoy it and get it round spa in the future.

I didn't mean it as any criticism - just as its low it's inevitably going to get damaged at some point. I used to have a subscription with HT Autos with the amount of splitters I got through!

Although Ian does have a point

Was about to say there is a P1 being broken on Scabnet, but i see you have it all sorted. Are you getting your bumper repaired or are you going to get another one?

WOW! Only just seen seen this, feel for you pal.
Hate it when things like that happen.

Did this happen whilst you were in the car or came back to find it like that?
