Less than 24hrs

Well unfortunately due to the situation this years trip has the least amount going.

I'm sure the hardy souls going will have a great time no matter what.

Dont forget your masks.

Stay safe everyone.

Great trip - nice to get away under the conditions. Can tick the Ring wet laps off this list. Kind of exciting but pretty scary at the same time. Every corner in the wet is a bit of an unknown and mix of surfaces make for fun.

Frank was his usual charming self. Thanks to E for organising as always.

I'm still trying to figure out who was more scared in the Swift, me or Nige. I think it was me, but then he should have been pretty scared with the outstanding driving skills that I have.

Few vid's of the ACTION !

Thanks for posting up the vids Nick.

Well it looks like we got our little trip done just in time,

If we wanted to go now we would have to quarantine in Germany now.

Co-incidentally, a few of us were talking about this on whatsapp today.... who knows what the situation will be like in the summer.

But it may be tricky - if the Germans don't accelerate their vaccine programme seriously then it could still be that UK people have to quarantine on return. I was reading yesterday they've only managed about 3 million people when we've done nearly 19 million. Probably a bit too early to be booking something in my opinion....

I would hope your trip would be possible late summer. Vaccination rates have been very slow here as they have been in most of Europe. EU leaders had a video conference to discuss the matter last Thursday. Macron has promised that everyone in France who wants to be vaccinated will have the possibility by the summer. French presidential elections next year so his job is on the line. From a very slow start Vaccination rates have really ramped up on the last few days.

That's encouraging to hear Terry. Hopefully the rest of Europe can do the same and there's sufficient supply/distribution to allow it. Looking forward to the world getting back to some kind of normal!
