Guy's, I need reg numbers for the vehicle passes to get into this event.
Can you PM them over and I will fill in the paperwork required.

I have had quite a bit of communication with the organisers and I think I have negotiated that our stand will be in the paddock so cars can be nearby or move freely between the stand and the track/paddock.

There was a risk the stand would be reduced to those not going on track and be on the other side of the track next to the old control tower. Hopefully it it's worked in our favour.

If there are any more taker's for track or stand please post up as I need to finalise by 25th May.

cheers

Not too sure if I'm going to pass the noise regs for this, had 20g, AFPR and Exhaust fitted and mapped on Saturday, Exhaust is a Cobra "track day friendly" system but dam it is LOUD

I will run some tests later this afternoon, if its too noisy I will offer my spot up to someone else for the track session.

Really !!. Very suprising, I was up for one of those, and they look like they should be really quiet, glad I didn't get one now. No concilation to you though and notice this is second exhaust now, so your not having allot of luck.

You should have some come back on the Cobra as they sell it as trackday friendly.

And have to say if that exhaust its OTT, it doesn't look good for others.

Is your cobra system 3 inch all the way?

I'll never pass 98db either but i'll hopefully be swapping to a prodrive backbox for the day (borrowing Big'E's).

Hi Steve, yea 3" from turbo all the way back, 4.5" exit 2x resonators in the centre section (1x small 1x large)
It's quite abit louder than they state on the website of "97db or less"

I'm not too worried, I nabbed the track spot as it seemed a good idea at the time with rob having to pull out, its all for charity after all

As theres still spaces on the list (i.e. nobody waiting in reserve) turn up and give it a go anyway. Noise testing varies on a huge amount of things - distance from walls, hedges etc, and angle the noise meter is placed relative to the exhaust. I think Goodwood put it a meter from the exhaust exit, but at an angle of 45 degrees upwards.

The following pass needs printing and displaying upon entry to help the organisers.
It is not clear whether we all need this or just the Track cars.
I suspect that as the SES stand is to be close to the Track paddock that we may all need one, but I will confirm.

Track goers need to be on site for an 0830 safety briefing.
If you are in the afternoon session there is an additional briefing at 1330.
Cars on stand need to be onsite by TBC.

I'm guessing we don't need to go to both if we are in a pmm session? Also what's the score on passengers/helmets?

Just been upto goodwood at lunch (I work just up the road) and the guys there where kind enough to run me a quick noise test.

My car with a "track day friendly" cobra system measures 100db ! Thought I would advise.

Ps. there "steward of the course" has a very nice office

Any idea what time to be there for PM track? Also is anybody likely to see C.J. Before the meet as I need something picked up from him?

I have 2 types of entry pass which I will post up later.
Afternoon trackers must display the 'static club stand' pass upon entry.
Morning trackers need the paddock track pass displayed.

Noise testing will be done am and pm so we need to ensure the quiet back boxes are on the right cars at the right time.
I will arrive with a prodrive box fitted that anyone else can use after my session.
