If you have a 2.5" exhaust you could borrow my Prodrive back box..

ps Ive got a bung also, it goes into a 111mm tail pipe.

What up-pipe did you fit?.. and is the new up-pipe much wider than the one you removed?.. If yes, then you want a Harvey trick up-pipe or... bang the cat out of your old wrx one for now and use that until you can sort a better tapered one..

(PS with all that fitted I wouldn't even bring it on boost before mapping)
(PPS everything will be laggy next to a TD04 which makes boost mega low down the rev range)

Well hopefully the remap will help smooth it out a bit, but it wont do anything about the noise.

I have a very large RCM up pipe as well as the tubular headers. Then 3 inch all the way through decatted.

I am going to go 2.5 soon so I guess that will get me some torque back, that an a hybrid 20g.

After driving two diesels most of the time, I have forgotten that over 4500 rpm exists.

thanks guys, never heard of revolution, but look good price, though i may have to go h&s from a time perspective, as i can quickly go and get one tomorrow if they have one on the shelf.

if i change back box after remap do you think map will need tweaking again? going from h&s jap style to normal style.

The Harvey-Up-Pipe is the best way to combat lag, you don't need the Tubular headers until well over 400 anyway.

Is it just me driving around like a virgin race winner on his final laps...... listenning for every knock, sqweek and rattle and wondering if it's normal.
I think I've spent too long driving the other car and forgotten whats normal and whats not......

Took mine to work today as it was a nice sunny day, new ride hight visible, couldn't help listen to every clonk and thought.. "oh that sounds abit rough", when I rev'd past 7k a couple of times.

I thought my trip was over today when I hit a large rock on a narrow road to avoid a frigging taxi as it was squeaking when I turned into my drive.....seems ok though
Roll bar bushes been sorted by smd and cured the knock but we did pick up that the ast's that were rebuilt might need to go back again ffs

Are the bottom height adjustment rings PROPER tight? Had an issue with the Tein's where the bottom ring would work its way lose and cause movement top to bottom... tightening it up with a massive knuckle bar worked to fix..

Right, to do list number 2: The snags.,

Fit Milltek back box (cannot even think about driving car with current setup) - ordered from Balance Motorsport
Fit a sensible sized and correct ARB for rear (my fault, change of plan) - ordered
ADAC cover - brushing up on German now for phone call in a minute.
Coolant leak - ordering new turbo coolant hose now, hope that is the culprit.
Missing clips from grill and under bonnet - as above
Get some heat reflective tape for under bonnet protection, to be on safe side.

Julian at Balance Motorsport has come to the rescue with the exhaust and ARB, based in Henfield he does all sorts of motorsport/performance tuning parts, very helpful and seems a nice guy. Worth giving him a call if you need anything, google Balance Motorsport. He contacted suppliers while I was on phone to see if he can get them next day, going to pick them up from him to make life easier.

He is a helpful bloke down at Balance, spoke to him at length the other day about local Geometry centres + settings and corner weighting. + he is only 5mins up the road from me!

The forecast has changed and so I will definitely be taking 2 sets of wheels, running there on the road wheels. and tyres. Just need to work out how to get them in the car...

Yes, also saw that this morning. Hopefully it'll change again before the weekend, the current forecast even says snow is possible overnight

But then this time last week we thought that Supercar Siege would be a washout - and it turned out as a nice day with not a drop of rain

Thunder and heavy snow on Friday morning - shouldn't settle but could be interesting! When I looked at the forecast a couple of days ago it was going to be sunny and 24C!!

Its changing all the time. There's less snow showing now on the Saturday morning that there was when i checked earlier today.

But still, its unbelievable that we're even talking about the possibility of snow. Its normally baking hot at this time of year and and we're all chuckling at those that removed their air-con to save weight

Looks like these will be a waste of time, even if the sun does come out there could still be large sections under cover that stay pretty wet. And what do you do if you drive to the track on 888's in the sun only for it to pour down 10 minutes after you get to the car park ????

The weekend we went the weather outlook was rubbish. It turned out to be very very hot. As most of you know the Eiffel mountains has its very own climate. Fingers crossed & enjoy that fantastic place. Will post at some point for Ring 2 Sep/Oct.

Its not actually a bad way to learn the circuit in the wet (i did two wet laps on the first year i went). It keeps most of the fast supercars and bikers off the circuit and means you can concentrate on whats ahead rather than having to watch the mirrors all the time!

Alright Nige yes you're right - the place can be cold and wet one minute and baking the next. We've been very fortunate with the weather over the last few years so sods laws says we're due a bit of rain at some point.

It'll be fine mate. We wont let a bit of rain spoil it. As Nige said, chances are they'll get it wrong anyway. I think we will probably just get a mixed bag of wet and dry hopefully.
