Default offset for brembo brakes, classic

Hi all im going to be buying some compomotive mo6 alloys in 17 inch for my claasic type r

Can any one tell me what offset i will need to clear brembo brakes and will i need 17x7 or 17 x8

strictly speaking offset has no bearing on brake clearance its all to do with spoke design/inner rim clearance..........

from memory the MO clears the Brembo's regardless and would be around ET49/50

As Alyn says, its totally dependent on the style of the rim. Generally speaking, the lower the offset, the better chance you have of clearing calipers as the wheel will be 'out' of the arch more.

No idea if being 7" or 8" wide makes any difference here, i suspect that varies wheel by wheel too.
