Default ASDA CHARITY DAY. Sat 11th Aug 2012

RAF BRUNTINGTHORPE

TICKET INFO

Okay ..... having just spoke to Chris B the tickets that will be given to you guys at the gate will allow you free entry for the day.

A donation of £5 minimum is requested to be paid to the WR1 stand once you are in the event.
Doesn't need to be paid the minute you arrive but at some time throughout the day,

OUT ON TRACK

You are welcome to take your own cars around for one lap or as many as you want but you will need a passenger that has paid £5.00 for the lap.

You can't stay out on track for multi laps. You can only do one lap at a time, then drive into the large pit area where many public will be lined up to jump in.
The public would have already paid a fiver.

Drive at your own pace as it's not a race.

You will also need a special ticket / pass to allow you to go on track driving your own car.
These passes can be shared between us as they must be evident when out on track. There will be plenty available.

RIDES AS A PASSENGER

If you would prefer to leave your car on the stand all day and jump in other cars as a passenger that is fine and no problem at all.

You will find the pits are extremely busy all day, and you can jump in any car of your choice (for a fiver).

ATTRACTIONS

There are many other attractions going on all day what you can participate in.

4x4 off road motors that are giving rides

Full size 40 foot Asda trucks you can drive and several other things.

There is normally something going on in the sky for a large chunk of the day from stunt displays - Spitfires to wing walkers.

MUNCH

All food & drink is non profitable so the prices are less than you would normally pay and it's not cheap 5hite.

KIDS

There are many activities for all ages of children. Asda do base this single day event on the whole family.

NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

As mentioned before this event is "invite only". It's not advertised to the public anywhere.
Last years event was based on the same issues and still had over 15,000 attend.
This year they are saying it will be many more.

HOTELS

There are many hotels are the area.

Here are a list of all hotels within the area.

http://www.laterooms.com/en/p1301/pv...120623104155:s

The hotel we stayed in last year (see thread above) were offering £ 29 off to people attending the Asda CHarity Day.

Yes Scott good idea.

You guys need to attend this event. It's only on the Sat and all who went last year rate it as one of the best shows about.

84 from the P1 club have confirmed attending.
We can all share one stand. There is lots of room.

As I have written on the ASDA day attendance thread, Clive has accepted my offer to help him a bit with the ASDA day.

Here is a bit more info for you guys (was posted on P1WOC by Clive):

okay I will be printing off 130 of these and leaving them with the guy on the gate.

If you are arriving in a Subaru you will get one of these. You wont need to pay at the gate but donate £ 5.00 per person to The WR1 stand.

If you are NOT arriving in a Subaru you will be given one of these and need to pay £ 5.00 per person at the gate.
