Default Limited Editions Gathering

I have copied this from WR1OC.
I thought a few of you may be interested.

We are having a gathering at Prodrive in Banbury on the 5th June 2011 from 10am-2.30pm in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness,
our mission is to have a maximum 25 of every limited edition released by Subaru on display around the main building.

From the Prodrive car to the Cosworth and any import limited editions are welcome this is going to be a great day out.

What we have planned so far...

To hold the largest gathering of all limited editions on show
To raise awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness & raise £1,000 for the charity
To tour round the Heritage Centre
The Prodrive shop (TBC)
Special Guests (TBC)
GB270 Simulator (TBC)
Refreshments Tea/Coffee £1.00 each (all proceeds go to our nominated Charities)
TI Magazine

Duckie Duck competition £2.00 a go (Winners prize £35.00)
Event memorabilia on the day
Raffles & Prizes to be won on the day
Plus much more to be confirmed at a later date
Do you own a limited edition Subaru and would like to take part in our gathering?

This is strictly a first come first served basis for show cars as we are only looking for 25 of each model released by Subaru

All Subaru owners are more than welcome to come along and show your support

To find out more please visit www.seriesmcraegathering.co.uk

If they manage to get 25 22B's in one location I might actually spontaneously combust with excitement.

Definately worth keeping an eye on this - even if my car is to common to get a place out the front of Prodrive!

This event is not just for limited editions only,

All scoobs are encouraged to attend.

This event is aimed at raising money for Breast Cancer

I have just received the following email.

Hi just to hopefully clear a few questions up we are NOT just asking for Limited Edition cars.
We would like to see ALL Subaru owners at this event please.

This should be a great day to attend and see so many variants of limited editions all in the same place at the same time

If your club is organising a club convoy please can you keep us posted so hopefully we can keep you all in the same area at Prodrive.
Thanks . . . . . . . . . . .

I assume this includes JDM Ltd cars? I have an STi RA Ltd if that counts.

Probably be up for this as I missed the Richard Burns Prodrive gathering.

All scoobs are welcome.

To see if your scoob is eligible please visit www.seriesmcraegathering.co.uk

then follow the links on the left for more info.

Only 25 of each edition will be allowed on the show stands but all scoobs are welcome to attend.

Not to put a downer on the event (as I give two thumbs up to anything Impreza-related organised at Prodrive), but the website is utter gash - it doesn't seem to load properly half the time.

I do agree with you on that.

I have just been on the site and had no problems.

To enter click on 'How to Attend' in the yellow box.

Then click on SMG Official Shop

If you have a limited edition click on the 'SMG Show Car Decal'

Those wishing to attend click on the 'SMG VISITOR DECAL'

Then go to the Checkout.

If people are having problems please use the ' Contact Us' button..

This should be a really good event please keep trying!!

Ian,

get exactly the same problem, nothing works on the site not even the contact us button

Seems its a browser problem if your championing the event, which could be a very good one maybe worth you letting them know that anyone using Safari cannot use the website

Works ok with Internet explorer, not tried any others

Could be losing alot of interest by people perception of the website if looking using a non supported browser

Figured this out last night so installed Firefox on the Mac and have managed to get a look at the site. Should have occurred to me sooner but I'm amazed that there are still sites out there that are inaccessible to some browsers.

I am meeting up with Jay with his RB320.

We could rendezvous in the layby on the A21, the one to the left of the 3 lane section, north bound.

06.35 ish
