Default JapBash 2011 - Help required

JapBash 2011 is scheduled to take place on Sunday Sept 4th at Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum. For this to be a success I would like to ask for assistance from some of you.

To kick off, the one area I would like help and to ensure the event organisers get to enjoy the event as much as you guy's, is that we have a rotor on manning the gate.

We get a very good entry price to use the venue, but this requires us to man the entry and exit of participants. Therefore I would like people to put their names forward for hourly slots.

As event organisers we don't mind manning the busy times between 10:30 - 12:00, but would like assistance for later in the day as below :

10:30am - 11:30am : SilverSurfer
11:30am - 12:30pm
12:30pm - 1:30pm
1:30pm - 2:30pm
2:30pm - 3:30pm
3:30pm - 4:30pm

Unfotunately the gate has to remain closed, to ensure general public (not show atteneed's) leave the site via the shop, for obvious reasons. The gate is only opened to let vehicles in/out.

Hi Guy's
I was at the Kent scoobies meet last night and quite a number of those attending asked if it was at all possible to discuss, with Bentley Park, the possibility of arriving say around 4-5pm Satureday and camping over night, as in years gone by. When the event has been held on Satureday. I am aware that a wedding is being held at the venue but if campers were located and confind over the far side of the toilet block camping field then I'm sure that it would not encrouch on the wedding party or be visible to guests leaving.
Just a thought.
