June's SES meet will be back in East Sussex, but the venue is still to be confirmed. It will be a Saturday or Sunday though, rather than a weekday evening.

There will be no separate SES pub meet in May, because its a busy month already with other events.

The best place in town at the moment is 'The Lifeboat Resturant'

Next to the Cutter (pub) and opposite the boating lake in the old town.

Nothing wrong with Hastings,

People having been visiting here a fooking long time.

Its got 18 pubs in just the old town some of which are over 400 years old.

The only trouble with Hastings is the on the town council.

We came through today and spotted a green wagon with gold wheels and a silver wagon, we waved to the geezer in the green one and he gave us a wave back, staying in camber for the week so we will be around the area in the wagon.

May I suggest Friday evening? And how about we meet somewhere near Hastings and then convoy onto the seafront, find somewhere to park up and then stuff ourselves with some delish fish & chips from one of the many down there..... Maybe find somewhere to park up near rockanore? What do you guys n gals think to that idea?

Apologies if I've stepped on anyones toes by suggesting that.....

Well i know if you go down Rock-a-nore and you stay with the car (post collecting fish & chips) then you shouldnt have to pay as you havnt vacated your car.

1.So meet somwhere in Hastings
2.Convoy to fish & chips (preferably lifeboat)
3.Then park up Noshing on dinner and chatting engines

Sounds like a good night

Sounds like the sort of thing I done 20+ years ago, but I'm up for popping out for the evening.
We could always end up back at the Harrow or Queens Head Iklesham for more of a chat , drink and removal of the Fear of the Traffic Warden.

I'll be up for this.

Good ol' seaside town Hastings. My Grandparents were born & lived there all their lives up Barley Lane then at Southview Court.
My Grandfather was a church bell ringer at All Saints for around 136 years and played for the Hastings bowling team for many years *George Phillips".
A lovely man.

I am up for this! I was in Hastings last night in the Sumo FN2 Type R and there was a gathering of Caterhams and kits cars in the car park just on from the Mini Golf, it was a £1 after 6pm to 8am so would that not be a good place to park up?

I am not a local so have no idea if there is any better car parks lol
