Default Is it Methanol?

Hi ordered some meths from jennychem and the drum that arrived has bd additive on it. Is it meths? Did a search for bd additive and it comes up with bio diesel. Phoned Jennychem up and the lady on the other end said it was meths. Does anyone know.

It is >99.7% pure methanol and BD just stands for Bio-diesel (Methanol is used in making bio-diesel). They label as BD additive to keep the courier happy apparently.
Quick search came up with the above, so I would guess its fine

That's pretty normal from Jennychem.
As mentioned Bio Diesel but it's not "Virgin Meths".
They tell you it is but they have no idea if truth were known as this was proved when I confronted them about it.

The purest Meths available in the UK is from Trinity Fuel Research. I've also been in communication with them and they DO know what they are talking about.

Non virgin Meths will be ok as long as the container holding the Meths remains air tight as often as possible.

Jennychem specialize in cleaning products.
They have no interest or knowledge regarding fuels.

I have now run over 20,000 miles on 20% Meths and last year my idle & throttle response was erratic.

RCM ran some fuel tests and fuel separation was evident due to my Methanol being exposed to oxygen.

Meths floating on V-Power
