Default rear drop links

I am hopeing to change my rear drop links for solid ones tomorrow.
Is it just a case of unbolting the old ones and replacing with the new ones ?
Does the car need to be jacked up off the ground?
And is it under any kind off tension?

thanks Jason

as long as both wheels are in the same plane then the bar isn't tensioned, if you try and do it with one side jacked up then its a pain.............

easiest is on some ramps as the bar sits level and simply unbolt
