I'd pay the extra 14 pound each and get some Vredestein ultrac sessanta
I crashed my RA on T1R's without even speeding when the back end just let go without reason... there shocking in the wet, even my R888's were better

Federal rsr are amazing, same as 888 but not silly money,
Bro has them on his Sylvia with 400 brake, done 3 track days and normal road driving, not even showing any wear and the grip is totally superb, even good in the wet, on s lively stripped out rear wheel drive car

They are very grippy in the dry, not to sure what they would be like in te wet. Ive got T1rs on my other set and think they may be a better all rounder, good in wet and dry conditions. Tyres go do down to personal preferences mate as Anger says the Vredesteins are also very good, I should have kept mine longer and may be I would have appreciated then more when they were bedded in more. It depends on what type of driving you intend to do. I know Dukeboy has had yokos for ages.

At £157.96 each they should stick like glue and last for ever.
It all depends how deep ones pockets are. If your going down that route 888s.??

I was very happy with Goodyear F1s on my classic.
Have used T1Rs on the blob and have no enthusiasm for them at all. Now trying the Ultrac Sessantas. |

I've only ever run Toyos on both the scoob and my old golf been more than happy with them dry and wet although may try Vredesteins next!

Each time this question comes up I get the feeling I'm in the minority but I have no complaints about my Yoki Prada Spec IIs... Awesome in the dry and to be honest pretty good in the wet. They can have a little moment on a damp/greasy road if it's just spitting (you know those horrible conditions when it's not raining but you'd soon be soaked if you stood outside for any length of time!) but then I don't think I've ever had a tyre that likes those conditions.

At brands hatch loie came off with pradas in the wet, changed to R888's and got more grip....
At brands last year with my vredesteins i didnt have to slow at all in the rain im even going to run them this weekend in my first round at Shakey

Maybe I just naturally drive to the conditions and expect a bit less of the tyres in the wet!
That said, I think I'm probably going to go for Vredesteins next time I need new boots...

Recently i have fitted Kumho Ecsta which are good for me,but i'm considering Federal 595 RS-R or Federal SS-595 which are great rated elsewhere and don't cost too much.
Falken FK-452 are also good which i have fitted before, which i personally rate as very good Jura |
