What we could do with is everyone posting their best pic of their car.

Then we could do some sort of vote and select the cars to go in it.

So folks, get posting.

For sure. This is what was we had planned before the Brands Day.

We could use the brands picture as the front cover for the calendar and then other pics for the inside.

I am going to try and arrange a shoot with my Twin, Moley!

If you insist

A little selection of my favourite group pics (obviously low-res versions) plus a couple of mine. This could turn into a big gallery-thread of SES history

Really like this one, the colours are deep and the way the ceiling just disappears into darkness.

And some faves of mine (i'll just link to these ones)

Liking those mate

Loving the first link pic, that is very cool Never seen your scooby dirty, but it really adds something to it.

I have got a pic or 2 floating about somewhere.

Cheers, was up at RallyGB last year - took forever to clean. Worse part was all the mud up inside the door seals and everything. Photo was something like a 30 second exposure, with a big maglight being traced along the edges of the car to highlight it.

Some things to remember:

- there's not enough months in the year to get everyones car in individually. hence i think we should use group photos or photos from SES events where plenty of people came along and can associate with the picture.

- Photos need to be hi-res. Every picture in this thread so far is a low resolution image. Hopefully people still have the hi-res versions of the photos posted up so far for when we come to put together a final list. Without being too geeky (and i only know a little about this compared to Claire ), Jpegs off your digicam are typically 75dpi, but these normally need to be converted to 300dpi for printing. As a result, your photo is actually printed at 25% of the size that it looks on the screen (and hence photos that look ok on screen just sometimes aren't suitable for a decent print!)

Agree Steve, with only a front cover and 12 months we will need to give it some real thought.
The thing is that alot of the really good pics are mainly of single cars.

Love the idea of a calender, but will prove tricky to all agree on the pics.

It may have been a year. But it would only take a week to get pictures sorted out!

As long as I have got the pictures by Monday 20th December, the calendars will be ready for Christmas. All the templates (the nightmare part) I have already sorted.

So by my reckoning that gives anyone who wants to add pictures 7 weeks, if thats not enough time then I just don't know.

So folks, there you have it, get out there and get snapping, if you fancy being on the calendar.

Just as a note to you all. Please rest assured that the pictures will not just be Moderators or the old guard and the like getting their cars in. This is open to EVERYONE!!!

Isn't 20th December too late if people want family, wifes or partners to buy for christmas. 1st week December is prob latest you want to publish the proof/samples.
4M pixel or higher should be fine for an a4 print, not all of us have the ability to use raw mode. Obviouslyphone taken pics will not be good enough.

20th would be last chance salloon really, I would like to think that people would have snaps in way before then.

Scott is bang on with the resolution as well. 4 megapixel minimum please. J-pegs / PDF's or TIFFS.

For May or June's page, I would like to propose maybe we have 4 pics of ring shots. What do you think?

Can we also do the black/white and colour highlight (as per parliment bridge) on all of the images as this makes it a bit more special.

I can do the changes to pics (as I did with StevePPP's pic) no problems. It's a fairly simple process
