i got my mechanic to check it out, he said you cant be 100% sure but the signs point to the carb, the car started to not idle so would stall everytime id stop at a junction etc then my bro had it for a bit and eventually couldnt get it to start at all.

its now sat outside on my bros driveway doing nothing and battery is now flat too. thought id see how much a 2nd hand carb was and replace it to see if it was the problem.

a girl at work recently had a similiar problem and it turned out just to be the earthing wire? could it be that?

Any other ideas?

cheers

DAVE

Could always take the top off it and see if there's any sh1t inside it first....might just be a blocked jet or something.
