Default The Sqn Ldr's Grand Day Out

The Sqn Ldr likes to visit all the secret bases in the south-east, to boost morale and ensure discipline is maintained. The staff at each base make a bit of a fuss and lay on a spot of nosh for the pilots and Sqn wives to attend and meet and greet the personnel.

At the east-sussex secret base, staff had captured a new Toyobaru when the driver bailed out near the base. Still on the secret list, it was being held in a Security Shroud under 24 hour guard, pending evaluation by the Squadron Boffins.

Meanwhile, operations continued. Two Legacy bombers are seen emerging from their secret hangar, ready for a mission.

A set of Squadron pants and socks were on display in honour of the Sqn Ldr's visit

Upon the Sqn Ldr's arrival, the vital Mission Kit Bags are displayed (not sure why)

And so the Wagons form a parade for the Sqn Ldr's delight!

In the Officer's Mess, Pilots "dig in" !

The Sqn Ldr loves his quiche, and he is presented with "the last slice" by F. Off Krud Simpleton

Here's a close-up of that happening

Oh those lovely Wagons!

The Sqn Ldr loves to wear a scarf, so he picked two of his best pilots to pose with him!

The Sqn Ldr then ordered the pilots and thier Wagons to a remote part of the secret Squadron base for some formation parking practice

More exciting photos soon, I hope, from the other keen photographers, invited on the day by the Sqn Ldr to witness his awesome dash and flair (and he has a lot of it, by jove!)

Excellent!!

We are (as you in particular know) a tiny bit mad.......and that helps keep the number of Wagon owners who associate with us down to a manageable level!!!
