Wales Rally GB photo thread (yes that means a lot of pics!)
Howdy all, got back from Wales Rally GB late last night and thought i'd put (just a few) pics up so you can all see what you missed (i know a few of you lot were hoping to get there), and hopefully make you all want to go next year as well
  Managed to get to the following stages: Fri - SS2/SS5 (Sweetlamb), SS7/SS8 (Walters Arena) Sat - SS10/SS13 (Halfway) Sun - SS16/SS18 (Rheola) and SA1 Service Park. Saw Hirvonen roll in Sweetlamb after hitting the bank after a watersplash, and saw Chris Atkinson's huge accident in Walters - it was very dark but could see the beam of light from the lightpod flashing up,down,up,down etc as he rolled through the trees. Found out later that they rolled six times after hitting the bank at 160kph, lucky chaps to walk away from that one..... Anyway, photo time  SS2 - Sweetlamb 1 The Sweetlamb Bowl....     SS2 - Sweetlamb 2   Hirvonen hits the bank.......  And ends up on his roof    And then trying to turn round, beaches the car on the bank        SS10 - Halfway 1        Classic scoob!  Classic scoob on fire! (Don't think he knew lol).   Land Rovers taking part from the RAF - not part of Wales Rally GB itself, but using the stages whilst they can   SS13 - Halfway 2       Rossi catches Perez on the stage after Perez drops time       SS16 - Rheola 1 Very early morning up on the mountains       And then the sun popped up and started ruining my photos!    So I moved to a new spot......      SS16 - Rheola 2   SA1 Service Park

I will definiately make a big effort to go next year. Wrap up warm job for sure.

if anyone does decide to go next year, its being moved from December to October, so it should at least be a bit warmer
