Default convertible or pick up

I was thinking yesterday(this is normally not a good idea) and i thought with all the talent out there has no one ever cut the roof off a scooby? and the wagon would make a great mini truck/pick up.
I would love to try to do one but i dont have the room or the knowledge!!!!!

The Blue one is AndyC's old car....He Photoshoped it a few years ago (very well)

The Second is the Opereta (sp) Not sure on the history. Might have been a design idea for Subaru or built by a specialist, but it really did exist!!
