Default MOT today

well my Skyline's got it's MOT today. Last time it passed with flying colours.

The only thing worrying me is emissions, last time it was 0.1 out of 3.5, that was with a cat

So fingers crossed it goes through now

Jas

Our survey says FAIL

001: Rear fog lamp tell tale light not working

002: Windscreen has a sticker or other obstruction enroaching by more than 10mm within zone A

003: Nearside Rear Tyre tread depth below requirement

004: Offside Rear Tyre tread depth below requirement.

005: offside steering rack gaiter insecure.

006: Offside steering system has excessive free play detected at the steering wheel

007: Nearside Headlamp not in good working order

008: Offside Headlamp not in good working order.

Passed the ****ing emissions by miles

My answer's to some of the above are

002: Remove it? I need this as I dont have sunvisors to stop me being dazzled by the sun.

005: Not got a spare Jubilee clip?

006: he turned the wheel and the steering wheel moved, magic

007 & 008: there HID's for christ sake, The lights work, your machine doesnt!

I'll be having a Skyline burnathon, bring marshmelows

Any think over 10mm in zone A is a fail ie stickers ,sun strips. things that hang from rear view mirror , sat navs. are a fail.

005: Not got a spare Jubilee clip?
MOT testers are only permitted to adjust headlights at time of test. we cant even clip up a fuel line if its not insecure.

006: he turned the wheel and the steering wheel moved, magic

play found between the steering wheel and the rack.
movement on the steering wheel before the road wheels move.
(play in the u/j more than likely)

007 & 008: there HID's for christ sake, The lights work, your machine doesnt!

dunno??? it wont be their machine there beam checked and calibrated every 6 months
