Default Our recent trip to RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk

As we are big fans of anything with an afterburner attached we are always popping up to our favorite air base, this base is one of the biggest air bases in europe.

The base is home to F15 eagles an apache helicopter and rumour has it a few F-117 night hawk stealth fighters.

We filmed this, a very rare 4 plane take off with full afterburner on launch, turn your speakers up, plenty of base and listen to this below.

We also took these photos.

Awesome........gotta love the afterburner. Reminds me of taking the kids to the Eastbourne air show with the Typhoon doing it's flyby's.......absolutely ear splitting and the kids thinking the world was ending

Nice sight but whats with taking off one at a time come on boyz....Eurofighters go off from Coningsby three abreast.

Whats with all the birds too.....surley someone should be going round scaring those things off...although it looks like nothing much scares them.

Well done Baz!

I recognise some of those birds, just seen them in the garden, the black ones.
