Default engine check light issue

i have a simtec ecu in my 1999 sti running 400bhp no problem at all runs well mapped by green monster.
but ive fitted aquamist after and now it puts out lots of spray out the dump valve when it blows off on gear change and on full boost i get a little flicker of my engine check light ....
does anyone know if this is nock due to too much water going in.....

You need to get it mapped for the water injection as this will require the fueling and ignition timing to be adjusted due to the inclusion of the water in the intake charge air.

The simtec does flash the CEL for Knock warning, so speak to Simon.

Yeah as discussed Kev..

either a smaller jet or needs mapping for.. normally you can add water injection for safety but it will actually cost you power if not mapped in.. I think the 0.7mm jet you have is too large.

Also worth considering running 50/50 water and methonal

Simon
