Default post crash info

my aunt was involved in a crash on her way to work this morning, she was driving up a road when a guy coming in the oposite direction took a corner way to fast and lost control hiting my aunt head on, thanksfully she only has cuts and bruises but it could of been so much worse.

What i want to know is what can she do now to get compensation out of it? id normally not want to go straight down the compensation route but the guy showed no remorse or concern for her and infact was overheard in the hospital effing and blinding because the fire crew had to cut his cars roof off.

what steps need to be taken as she is going to be off work with severe bruising and whiplash, shes already scared of being in a car and is going to lose money as she wont be able to work.

If id caused and accident due to my dangerous driving then my first thoughts and concerns would be for the innocent persons life id just changed in a second, not my car roof, what a jackass!

thoughts and advice please.

Dave
