Nearly wrote the scoob off in Brighton about 8ish....slid about 75ft down hill straight across a T-junction with traffic coming from both directions, managed to handbrake it around and luckily the traffic coming from my right was turning left otherwise it could of been messy!!!

Still haven't seen a gritter though

Ouch, lucky escape there!

I nearly did the same when we had the last load of snow - just tried to stop from about 10mph and got a bundle of ABS judder and no stoppage at the T-junction

More snow than last time in Crowborough. And still bloody snowing.

Made it to work though, although did have a close call with a lorry jack-knifing in front of me and nearly crushing the bejeeeesus out of me.

Uploading some pics to photobucket now.

I WILL get out and take some pukka snow pics this time though.

more in Burgess Hill than last time as well.

Didn't bother going into work today - last time i made it in the scoob to find about 10 people (out of 150 or so) had made it, and then went back home 2 hours later - not a lot of point risking it with the other muppets out on the roads!

I reckon about 5-6" here now, still snowing hard. Gonna go for a nice walk in the countryside later with the missus and take some pics too

Pics from the journey and outside work:

And finally .... after my little bit of play in the snow, my best snowy attempt at scud trajectory formation of one parking! What what!

Bloomin heck steve its far worse in Crow than uckfield by looking at your pics.
Sodding trains are not running now, they were until they all got stuck somewhere near Oxtead, The deisels are ok, its the electric jobbies are screwed.
Was going to get train to crow and pop into me mums.
Still snowing here though.

Got to work in R2 this morning, only to have some prat slide into me at the Battlebridge Road traffic lights.
I was stationary indicating to turn right. Bumper damaged, tailgate bent and central locking not working
Come home again no incidents apart from having a job getting back up my road.

Sat in traffic on the top of Tunbridge wells by the bus garage just now, held up as everyone's sliding down the hill towards Crowborough...and a bus comes the other way, wanting to pull into the depot, front wheels look up, and it just glides past me....

I saw the driver, and he saw me...we both had 'oh ****' expresions..

Thank god he hadnt tried to turn yet, as it would have been bye bye scooby...

And Steve...is your car ever dirty??
