Don't worry mate, one of those things. You never know whats under the bonnet at the end of the day.

Re-map for sure, then go hunting.

I'm surprised the panels on a rover stay in place with 315bhp!.

I believe niges old car has got a lot more in it with a remapp and new ecu ( simtec or solaris )
I would think 400bhp min to 415bhp and simular torque
Only the turbo & ecu i believe are the main differents to mine
had a 20g on the 2lt at over 400bhp

Would need bigger injectors if you want to push it much further as they were max'd on the 2.5l, hence we had to drop the boost at the top end.
Sorry to stick up for the Rover, but it will be much, much lighter and also 2WD.

Ask Nige how he had to drive to keep up with my Classic and a lowley 335BHP.

Road Dyno showed 370BHP with similar torque, but tweaked it again since then.....
K&N Airfilter fitted is also a tad on the small side.

No need to change the ECU, there are cars running Time Attack on the stock ECU, open source mapped.
The ECU in it has already had the MAF and associated maps 1/2 scaled to allow more then 300g/s flow or a bigger MAF tube.

But then there are cars in time attack running 300bhp !
Poeple changing from simtec to solaris have had great gains with nothing else added (same mapper & rollers ) , plus lots of other issues .

One of the upgrade's on the Rover 200's is an Audi engine swop from the S3 so it could of been 350bhp ish. Not saying that car had that engine swop. Just a thought. Scott was right in saying i had to drive very hard through the gears just to stay level pegging with his classic running 335bhp. With my old Scoob the best bit was in any gear it would just pull, lots of torque. In every day driving it was a really good fun car. Now some of the cars on here are running 420+ftlb must be such a giggle. My Evo is 340bhp & 340ftlb of torque & it feels slow compaired to the Scoob {for now}
