It wouldn't suprise me if there isn't a british grand prix next year, bernie has been on silverstones back for years to improve (which they have) yet he's never happy with them, this could be just the excuse he needs to take it elsewhere

Will be a shame to lose the GB grand prix
It's all down to money at the end of the day |

Cheap track day at Donnington anyone???
Unfortunately i don't think we'll be getting a British GP next year either, but i'd be more than happy to be proved wrong. Read a story about it earlier, and someone had summed it up perfectly... ''Bernie knows the price of everything, but the value of nothing'' |

We are the worlds leading country when it comes to Motorsport, a huge chunk of Formula 1 is British built, designed or owned yet we have the worse GP circuits on earth.
Bernie, put your hands in your DEEP pockets, and give something back to the F1 world that has earned you a HUGE fortune. So, Mr Ecclestone, get a hair cut, buy some coloured shirts and throw £ 100M at a new state of the art Silverstone. Britain deserves it and you can easily afford it ! It would not hurt the sports minister to show some interest either! Last edited by Skullfudge; 12-11-2009 at 04:22 PM. |

Its a real shame with Silverstone because the actual track/layout is still one of the best there is. The drivers love it. Its just a shame about the facilities. They have spent all that money improving the access to the circuit which is now 100 times better than it was, so it seems a shame not to improve the venue itself.
