Default Not a good day at surrey rolling road today.

Problems with just about all the cars that went on the rollers.
Not an issue with Surrey rolling road or Jolly Green i might add.

I will let Steve and C.J explain.

I did say i would take the piss out of Worzel but to be honest he doesnt deserve it.
340bhp is all i am going to say

C.J good man for letting Steve go before you, we knowyou had been there hours.

And I've got exhaust issues (no obvious jokes please )

Looks like my sport cat is completely fooked and causing me no end of problems. So, just when I thought the spending had stopped, guess who's out shopping for a 3" full de-cat system tomorrow.

Only good thing is that Simon said the engine sounded as sweet as a nut through the cans. So all good for the near future.

CJ, can't thank you enough for letting me jump the queue. Top man. Sorry to hear about your issues.

Trouble is, I have spent more than I wanted to already. I can't not do it though.

I have one question though, I am looking for a decatted 3" system, can someone explain to me what a 3" catback system is?

Maybe worth even giving Hayward & Scott a ring .....
http://www.haywardandscott.com/results.asp?category=13

then you could get a 3" Votex rear box (as i know you like the noise), http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1375 , a Hayward & Scott 3" downpipe and see if they would do something with a centre section to link the two up.

I had a hayward and scott open mouth down pipe although it was only 2.5! very good fittment, just make sure you wrap the down pipe with heat wrap before you put it on!
I ordered mine in the morning and it was made and ready for pick up by the afternoon, based over in essex.

I'd agree with the Miltek, the pipes are stainless but the flanges are mild steel. It is a great fit and lovely sounding exhaust but I'm not impressed with the build quailty.

Having said that....

Cheers guys.

Anger, I am looking for the same kind of loud as I have now. Afterburner Vortex. Would go a bit louder, but would think twice before going as far as Nur Spec. .................... but might be tempted. What would be your choice?

There some choice out there though, quite surprising really.

Sorry to read of both your disappointments on the rollers

positive that both are hopefully easy to rectify to get to be top cars

A phone call to H&S would be my suggestion I know they will 'tune' the exhaust to what you want(or at least they used to) Tell them what you want and go there to have them fit it.

Looking forward to reading future posts when all problems are rectified

Gutted for you mate - All part of the fun/pain though.

Look on the bright side if you went there thinking your car might be pushing close to 400bhp, and the car felt quick to you. With a new exhaust and possibly induction then your looking at a minimum of another 60 ponnies.!

Had similar problems with my classic 2.5 at the time, and first dyno the car pushed 340bhp/373ft/lb and I felt the car was a rocket at the time. In the end It was my induction not the exhaust that released the biggest gains, and 380/380

The revelotion 3" system gets great reviews and not too loud. If you running a panel filter in the standard airbox, you will also need to think about an apexi induction or larger IMO.

Its amazing how everything has to be balanced when you start pushing big BHP. One thing out of kilter and make a huge difference.

Ive got a full Kakimoto Racing Exhaust on mine now and for the first time i think it will stay

Great sound, fit and weighs hardly anything

That one you put up looks like it narrows at the downpipe Worzel ?

Robs spot on with the Revolution System, i had one and it was great but to quiet for me, JGM runs one on his track car

Once again guys, cheers for the input.

I have been to see Saj at Jap Performance this afternoon and parted with more pennies for the above pictured exhaust and a Cusco 3" open neck decat downpipe.

James. That's one hell of a spot! It narrows to just over two and three quarter inches at the end. You weren't wrong when you said you know exhaust pipes.

Rob, It's going to be all about little bits until the balance is right. I always knew I would have to go 3" de-cat, but was meant to be saving that for next year. I reckon it will have to go induction next (again this year I expect) and from there who knows. The front mount is beginning to look appealing all of a sudden too. But that WILL be next year.

Martyn, cheers for all your help mate, as always, much appreciated.
