Default Lotus Emira

Got to test drive the Emira First Edition today. Couldn’t push it as it’s still on running in duties. Manual V6 Supercharged. Touring suspension. Build quality fit and finish was pretty decent. Feels sharp and power delivery linear. Quite sporty in the track mode but could do with a bit more sound. You can book a day at Hethel to try them out which I may do at some point. I4 AMG engine out next year. Interesting that Merc did not want to give Lotus the I4 but Geely (the Chinese company that invested millions into lotus) own 12% of Mercedes so they made the board give up the I4 to Lotus. Also the Electra , new EV , will have replaceable battery cells.

I put a deposit on one a while ago, but it won't be here until mid next year as mine will be the I4.
