We went back into Nationwide lockdown on Friday for 4 weeks. Not quite as strict as last time. Think countries are going into lockdown now to try and save Christmas.

The last thing we want though is for the shutters to open 3 weeks before Christmas. It'll be a mad rush and a germ breeding ground.
I'm sure over the years we have all had our fair share of pre or post Christmas illnesses due to various social gatherings or shopping centre visits. I dont plan to add Covid to my list of Christmas experiences.

Im sure it will re open for trade before Christmas but I for one will be doing all my shopping online this year
I don't want to be in the infectious germ breeding grounds that are high street shops on the run up to Christmas

I am also not a fan of Christmas shopping or shopping in general. Not difficult for us to be isolated and we can always look out of the window and see the village 2kms away. Hoping the Covid restrictions won't affect the annual SES snowfall. Stay safe everyone and looking forward to a big post Covid meet in 2021.

I hope everyone is safe and doing well. We will all be told by the states all around the world that we can do anything for many years to come yet. This won't end next year or the next, or ever. It's a shame but that's the way of the world now, if we let that be the case anyway

Tad pessimistic there mate. I tend to be more optimistic, vaccine news sounds positive so hopefully light at the end of this very long tunnel. Once we can move freely again it's down to Big E to organise the big SES weekend meet were alchol will be taken. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone.
