Default K&N High Flow Air Filter

K&N say that fitting their High Flow Air Filter to a stick 2016 STi will increase horsepower by 34. Seems to good to be true. Anyone have anymore information or opinions.

Too good to be true.
Lucky to get 34Hp from a remap on the 2016 STi

Testing I did with a K&N on my Cupra gave lower airflow reading than the standard paper filter

It should of probably been quoted as 3-4hp not 34hp
If you say it with a French accent it sounds the same

Info came from K&N filters .com, which must be their own website.

thats their Induction kit, sorry thought you were meaning the drop in air filter...........

you do realise they are talking about "american horses" which probably equates to around 3bhp in the real world..........

any changes on the newer cars requires at least a map check IMO to ensure they run correctly
