Default ISOFIX, Blob and Bug Eye

Hi Folks,

First post here I think, got a lot out of reading the forum so want to contribute too!

As the wife and I are expecting in March my three door Fiesta has to go. I've always wanted an Impreza (thanks to Colin McRae), and I have seen they have ISOFIX. I don't want a classic as I live in the ULEZ zone so they're out, and I don't want a 2.5 Hawkeye either.

Down at Mamas and Papas in Croydon today and looking to get a Joie iSpin (https://uk.joiebaby.com//product/i-spin-360/), which is ISOFIX but also states it doesn't fit in some cars. They checked the fitment guide and the 2001 - 2006 Imprezas aren't listed - probably because they're an old, niche car so not exactly top of their list compared to a Qashqai or Zafira!

So is anyone using one of these or other i-Size car seats that folk would recommend?

Thanks folks

Welcome

I can't help with that particular seat as never had a spinning rear-facing one in my bug, but I have used isofix in it for the little'un (well, she's nearly 6 now...) over the years.

My only observation is that there's slightly less room on our forward facing child seat between that and the passenger seat back, when compared to our other two cars. I'm sure it would technically fit, but depends how far forward you need to slide the passenger seat / tweak the tilt a bit more vertical, just to allow it to spin.

This is the setup i did use in the bug when she was a baby, and it fitted fine.

We have the joie 360 spin and it fits in our Mazda2 aswell as my Forester sti so I would have a guess it will fit bug blob etc best bet would go to Mothercare as they can check for you that's how we found out it fit the Forester so we bought it .

Went down and checked this and it fits and is ordered. Posted so if someone Googles it in years to come, the answer's out there. Finding out we've got a wee one on the way was a very good excuse for getting an Impreza...

Without being too blunt... welcome, but your posts so far look like spam...
