Default Rallyday 2019 - Static Show Pictures

Fantastic Day at Rallyday 2019, and really worth the trip down from Sussex.
I'm probably a SES member that's at the 'further point' from Castle Combe, geographically, and travel time was just 2:40mins from Hastings.
Leaving at 6:20am and arriving at 08:59am for a 09:00am opening.
That even included 50mph restrictions from M25/M4 thu' to Reading (oh! so boring).

In My Opinion this should be SES attended and considered a 'FEATURE EVENT' for SES during the year.
It is far greater than any over events we attend, and the £25 entrance 'on the day' can be reduced if we book as a club.
When you consider what the entrance price is to Blancpain, BTCC and Goodwood FOS, for the public, this event stands out as a bargain.

It is a mini Goodwood FOS for rally fans, and better than even the Rally feature that Goodwood put on.

Some of the level of detail and standard across all marques is outstanding and I compare some of the Escort builds and products on offer as 'Singer Porsche' level. If you have ever studied the engineering on a Singer, then you know what I mean.

I've not taken so many photo's at an event for a long time.
My full portfolio is here : https://flic.kr/s/aHsmHcJtjK but I've tried to select my favourites (there were a few) and have embedded below......enjoy........

Nice Carbon features on this Mk2 on front 1/4 bumpers, rear bumper and boot spoiler. All very OEM, just Carbon

Very Serious Tommi Mak, Fully stripped with Synchro Box

For Sale £10000

Wasn't I saying recently how you never see Mk1 XR2 anymore !

TSL Group 'A' exhaust......tempting

Great to see the RB5 owners putting on a great show, with some stunning examples. Made mine look shabby

I probably should have kept my RS1600i. This is the first one I've seen in a long time

Stunning Production RS200 road car

750BHP Cossie

2 of, I beleive the 3 produced, RS1700T

Very Rare Production Lancia 037 & Fiat

I would be up for it if you do it as a club next year. Photos look good and a good selection of cars to look at.

Nice pictures!

Definitely agree that Rallyday is one of the best shows in the UK. I haven't been for a few years (and was only there for one car this year), but forgot how good the club turnout is.

These cars are both owned by the same chap (Brian Betteridge). I haven't seen a cleaner RS200 than his!

I was torn between the Bastos EsCos and the Krzysztof Hołowczyc Group A Impreza as my favourite car of the day!

It was a good day, loved the Bastos EsCos, popped and banged it's way around. There was also a green cossie, Mark Hudd I think it was.
