Default Car Dreaming

Cars, something I obsess about far to much.

For some fun a few questions out to the forum.......

1) What would be your next ideal and realistic car?
2) What car would you most like to own again or should never have sold?
3) Money no object what would you buy?
4) What car would you buy for £1500?

1) Hopefully Porsche, 911 probably unrealistic so maybe Cayman S? They seem to be in the 10k-15k range now.
2) None really. The only previous car i've ever missed is my old Pug 406 HDi estate - not because it was a nice car, but because it cost virtually nothing and was awesome for moving junk about. I can't even fold the rear seats in the beemer now....
3) McLaren 720S or Porsche GT2RS.
4) Some cheap track hack.... old MX5, Clio etc.

That's a good shout for a cheap track car. RWD, 230bhp and they cost peanuts as everyone is scared of a rebuild and the low mpg!

I doubt you'd get a 306 GTi for £1,500.

It's a car I've always fancied, but timing didn't work out, similar to a Supra.

I had a 306XS, because at the time I was 24 and the insurance on the GTi felt like a bit of an extravagance. Sort of wish I'd done it, in hindsight, though my XS met a sticky end thanks to some kindly fellow driving into it!

When I replaced it, it was with a 350Z as the time was right for a two seater!

When I sold that, I needed an estate...

1) Hoping it's going to be an RSR200, but I need to see one finished first...
2) Not had that many. Probably my Peugeot 106, though with a bigger engine!
3) Ford RS200 Evo or a 1998 Impreza WRCar.
4) Saxo or a Clio.
