Default Car Show KT4 29th June - Scoobies wanted !

My name is Mark Brown and I am a helper with 4th Worcester Park Scouts.

4th Worcester Park Scout Group is run by volunteers for the benefit of the young people in our Beaver, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer sections. The cost of maintaining our facilities and continuing to put on a varied and challenging program of events is always financially interesting and our Summer Fair and Car Show has grown to be one of the most important fundraising events of our calendar

Saturday 29th June 2019 will be the third year we have put on our Summer Fair/Car Bike Show and we wondered if your club would be interested in putting on a stand for us ? We have already had commitment from the Epsom Area MG Owners Club and the South London 4x4 Owners and would probably be looking for around 6-7 vehicles but could possibly accommodate more. We would expect to have capacity of around 40 vehicles total.

Please let me know by return if you will be able to attend and what vehicle/s you will be bringing. Passes and vouchers will be emailed closer to the event.

As in previous years, all vehicles are required to be on site by 11am latest and no vehicle movements will be permitted until 3pm when the fair closes. We are uncertain at the moment if the parade up the high street will go ahead as the Police are sadly withdrawing their support for this type of event.

All drivers and one passenger will be admitted free and also receive a voucher for a Scout burger (cooked by Scouts not made from Scouts) and a soft drink.

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday 29th June !

Kind regards
Mark

Welcome

Good luck with your event. It might also be worth approaching Surrey Scoobies on facebook if you haven't already, as they have some local members.
