Default Wow! Secret arrival at base !!!!

SQUADRON PRESS OFFICE OFFICIAL RELEASE::::

EMBARGO LIFTED 18:00 HOURS 270909

A mysterious new Wagon, of the Legacy class, touched down at one of the 555 Wagon Squadron's operational bases today. Here it is passing two wagons standing at operational readiness. COR !!!!

A mysterious figure emerged from this fine machine, known only as "Captain X" !!!!!!!! (No photos allowed)!!!!

He was immediately ushered to the Squadron Leader's office, and the base was soon alive to rumour and conjecture about the arrival of this mysterious officer and his amazing Wagon.

Soon the ground crew were swarming all over it, gasping in wonder. They had to be shooed away in order to get some photos. What's that on the roof???

Here it is performing a circuit prior to "tarmac touch down"

Mysterious aerials were spotted protruding from the roof of the Legacy. Although some dared to peer at the windows, special opaque glass precluded any analysis of the Legacy's secrets!!!! Holy gaschmuzzle!!!

BLIMEY!!! I've wet me trousers in all the excitement!

DOUBLE HURRAH for Captain X !!!!!!!!!!!

Several of the groundcrew recognised Captain X from the above picture. They especially noticed his inflatable trousers !!!!

Not sure about calling his wonderful Leggy Wagon "Jenny". Must be his feminine side!! And who the hell is "Tiny Bones" ????

Back to Squadron matters.

Word in the compound is that nobody knows the role of Captain X within the Squadron!! Only that it must be rather exciting !! It's all very hush hush and the Squadron Leader's chiselled jaw remains tightly clamped!!!

There is a rumour that, because F Off Simpleton has not been seen around the dispersal pan for some days now, that these facts might be linked in some weird and wonderful way!!!!!

Jolly gosh and waggle your woggle at a passing girlie !!!!

I say! Kerpluck-Nak-Tar Captain X... as they say in deep space.

It's good to know our X-traordinary secret remained a secret until the secret was not X-actly a secret anymore. An X-cellent job done there by the MI555 and the Sqn press office.

Being a privileged sort, Captain X and myself had been discussing the arrival the ‘leggy bomber’ over the airwaves for almost 10.3 days. I’m X-tremley glad the ‘bomber’ has now broken cloud cover and touchdown X-pertly at Field base Alpha.

Looking forward to some X-citing times ahead and hope your training goes well. Now where can I get a pair of those trousers and a woggle?

I understand the 555 Wagon Squadron Scout Troop have a plethora of X-tremely good woggles, not X-posed to either sunlight or ladies parts.

As for the inflatable trousers, that's a job for MI555 surely?????

Wagon - fighter

Forester - gunship

Leggy - bomber?

Some more info released by 555 Wagon Squadron Personnel Department. (Sourced from the internet, apparently)

CAPTAIN X
Real Name: Richard Dare
Class: Human hero
Occupation: Newspaper reporter
Group Affiliation: The Group
Known Relatives: Edward Raymond (son), Ronald Raymond (grandson)
Aliases: Aviator
Base of Operations: Kent, England
First Appearance: Star-Spangled Comics #1 (October, 1941)
Powers: Captain X was an expert hand-to-hand combatant, and a skilled athlete. His primary weapon was "Jenny," a plastic plane powered by uranium-235, so clear and slim it is virtually invisible at a distance. If he wished Jenny to be clearly visible, he could flood tiny slits in the plane with colored fluid. A secret ray could keep Jenny stationary in the air, and Captain X could remote control it through a radio-transmitter.
History: (Star-Spangled Comics #1)-Richard "Buck" Dare was a reporter for the Tribute, an American newspaper published in England during WWII. Although America was not yet involved in the war, Dare wanted to aid the Allies. A secret organization known as The Group gave him the identity of Captain X and an experimental plane named Jenny. Captain X was given a secret hangar near the Great Chatham Naval base, from which he could aid the RAF or operate on solo missions.
After many successful missions Captain X was transferred to operating behind enemy lines. He was first given a shore-leave in Atlantic City, where he met a young woman named Patricia. They had an affair, and he returned to Europe, unaware that she was pregnant. Captain X served until 1945, after which he searched for Patricia, but found she was happily married, with a two-year old son he didn't know was his.
(Firestorm #69-72)-The Group contacted Captain X to serve behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. Now known as Aviator, he continued to go on missions and formed a group called the "X" Protocol to aid him. In the early 1970s' age caused Richard dare to retire and disband the "X" Protocol. He learned that Patricia died when her son vanished, and he decided to investigate. He found Ed Raymond, and Ed's son Ronald (Firestorm), learning the truth that Ed was his son. A plan by The Group to assassinate Dare was foiled by Firestorm, but the vengeful Russian Stalnoivolk would later succeed.

Obviously some of this is rubbish, because Captain X turned up the other day at Base Alpha!!!! It's not like Personnel to get their facts wrong!

Some of the Guys in the mess reckon Captain X might be Ronald !!

Previous information was obviously sourced from leaked deliberately falsified information fed to 'the doers of evil' by means of the so called secret X files documents: code name : Star-spangled comics:

Jenny is still fully operation although now showing her age!
the stealth button making her invisible to onlookers was replaced by a folding wing mirror button however when used it only makes everything to the rear appear to disappear!!

The legacy of Captain X is handed down from generation to generation, one prominent name has always been associated with Captain X? During the afore mentioned spell in the US of A, Captain X was designated the name Regan to assure operational secrecy . Sometimes its whats infront of you that is the most difficult to see.
