Unfortunately it’s a USA only model . I don’t understand the thinking behind this . Why does the uk not get something a bit special

The uk is dropped , we won't see another new built impreza in the uk show room.
We are back to grey import days on these for the time being.
U.s is still booming sales so subaru have decided to run to target them,
There's rumours of subaru building something else.
They have said they will go back to rallying in a new smaller car.
Rumours the ej20/25 is going to stop the they will start using a turbo brz engine .
Emissions is the biggest thing,so I can see maybe a 1600cc turbo brz direct port injection being next. ????????

We were in California in April,so of course made a visit to a Subaru dealership. Got talking to an enthusiastic salesman and he said they cold sell all the Subaru's they could get their hands on
Also no mot in California, just a 2 yearly emmision test, which we were informed ,can easily be passed whatever the condition of your car. With fuel at Just under £3.00 a gallon, happy days.

Yeah, that's the problem imo. Yes, it's mean to be exclusive, but how on earth can Subaru make a profit on a such a low production run?

From what I understand, 200 for US market only.
The total number of STI S209 will be bigger, 400+. but yes, this is not enough.

I have read that Toyota will only sell 24 of the special ‘A90’ Supra when the car is released, £57,000 I believe, only £3000 more then the standard model.
