I've entered at the last minute, and apparently on Sunday there is a display by the Southern Subaru club.

Yeah, I looked them up online and it doesn't seem possible to see what they do unless you join the FB group or register for their website.


Also hadn't heard of the hill before, it's in my club's speed championship and I had a free weekend so I thought I'd give it a try. Record top speed across the finish line is 159 mph!!

My paddock spot makes the wagon look huge! Will get some better shots of the club display later (they were still busy arranging the cars by colour and lining them up to the nearest millimetre)

I ended up 2nd in class (out of 3), about 0.4s behind a Caterham, so pretty pleased with that, except that I know there was another second to find in there somewhere!

Thanks guys.

Southern Subaru CC seem like a good bunch, they were all there in matching orange tops (like the Max Verstappen fan club!) and lots of kids and families. I've joined their Facebook group but seems like most of their events are way out West. Might be worth some of you Surrey/Sussex types checking out though.
