I've just noticed this today as well... Just filled up with vPower in Burgess Hill. 147.9p per litre, a massive 20p over normal unleaded at 127.9p.

I asked the bloke behind the counter and he said they are a franchise and can set their own prices and they'd just put it up. Thanks a bunch...only a few months ago it was 9 or 10p a litre different.

So yesterday I went to the Shell garage in Ansty. For those not local, its probably 2 miles up the road from the Burgess Hill garage. Their vPower is 137.9p, so 10p a litre cheaper. Different franchise.

I sure know which one I'll be going to in future!

First time in a couple of weeks I have needed some fuel, filled up at my usual Shell on the Uckfield by-pass at £142.9/ltr, I didn’t catch a glimpse at the price of the normal stuff.

The Esso franchises in Hastings and Bexhill really take the Mick. Since the current incumbent took over the prices have gone sky high for Esso Supreme over normal UK.
It used to be about 6p different, it's now at least £15p more.

I needed a splash and dash and they wanted £1.42 where Tesco were only £1.26 for 99.

Shell today on A27 Fontwell was £1.48, I think.

My wallet git absolutely raped on a recent day trip to Lincoln for a client meeting.

The FSTi can't quite do it on a tank, or rather I'm not brave enough to try in case I get caught in traffic and it all goes wrong.

So I filled up on the M1... it was about £1.57 a litre.

It's all about supply and demand!
