All we use is hose pipe, washing up liquid to clean the wheels as it removes all the crap and does an awesome job, then turtle wax nano tec car wash, wipe off with new micro fibre cloths and then a cotton t shirts from asda and t-cut colour magic 2 a year, all we have to buy is a clay bar and the car will be even better than it is now

glad you found me helpfull mate, before you start have a play around with the bits you bought so you get a feel for them, ie the snow foam bits, only say because it will save you wasting it once youve sorted the settings, also if you mix a bit of normal car shampoo in with the snow foam it will last longer.

with the clay kit, take your time and have a practice on a small bit first and use plenty of lube on it if you dont use enough detailer it wont move accross the paint freely and leave a dull type trail, this is a nightmare to get off,

and finally lol with the drying towel it works wonders straight out the packet and you virtually need only one pass to dry the car, but once youve washed it and its dried it takes a while to soak up the water so the best thing to do is completly soak the towel first then ring it out till nearly dry and itll work like its just come out the packet.

i know it sounds like im telling you what do, but its just some handy tips, mainly because i learnt the hard way, i managed to empty a whole lance of snowfoam on one car pannel and with the clay i managed to get a nice white streak down the side of my car and it took and hour to buff off!

once youve started though mate it becomes really addictive espically once you feel the difference before and after claying
