Default Stuck in second gear?

Evening fine folks!

I was out with the missus today and was driving the Scoob as normal with no issues whatsoever.

We pulled into B&Q, did a little shopping, pulled out absolutely fine. However, when I went into second gear I couldn't shift up into third. The gear stick was solid, I managed to find neutral but the car remained in second gear and I am unable to push through any 'gates'.

I have clutch, as I have to start the car with it pressed down and can use it normally at traffic lights. I just have no gears other than second, which the car doesn't want to change out of! I can drive it but have to rev the ******** to move off. Managed to limp home for some diagnostics.

My brother had it up on a four poster and tried to manipulate the linkages but he said they were solid and reckoned it was the selector fork?

Any ideas? Car is a Hawkeye Wagon. Thanks guys.

So it turns out that my brother had it up on a four poster and tried to manually manipulate the linkages to try and free them up. Unfortunately he couldn’t and reckons the selector fork is jammed inside the box!

So the car is booked into SMD on the 22nd. I’ve had nothing but bad luck with this car!

Appreciate the feedback guys. If SMD are unable to repair my box, I will go down the worst case scenario and buy a new box. I don't want to, because money is tight as is and it will cost too much to do what SMD are doing!

FML.
