Default Not a lot of power

Drove car for first time up the road but came straight back lol
Put fuel in and noticed fuel dripping from fuel filler pipe
And what I think is a noisy rear wheel bearing and clutch is very high lol and it don't want to go over 50 mph
Going to get some service parts oil / filters / spark plugs / and a new clutch kit
If anyone can tell me what else problem could be that car only goes 50mph could it be down to clutch
Any pointers from you guys be appreciated
Could the plug leads be old and broken down should I change them / would that make much of a difference
Help appreciated

not sure but for the price of service parts - its certainly worth changing. Have a word with Alyn at AS Performance as he will provide all parts at reasonable prices.

Changing plugs, leads, filters e.t.c. will certainly give it a better chance, but not getting over 50mph is probably down to something much more...

Thanks for reply I'm going to get a compression test and check if coils plug thingys are cracked / broken
Maybe cheaper for me to get another engine lol ( hope not needed ) fearing the worst
But for now think I will source sensors along with all other parts above
Don't understand much about mechanics but 50mph lol not good is it
Any comments and pointers are welcome as to what I can change also how can I get engine codes up its a 1996 wrx

Yes you need to count the flashes on a classic to get the engine code

Was there any kind of misfire or it just wouldn’t boost ?

Didn't seem to be any misfire Neil and it boosts but just seems so under power
I'm going to do compression test later and count flashes for codes if I post them up here can you tell me what they are please
I did read about possible sensor issues could be a cause but not so sure
I also let you no result of compression test
Once again thanks and I will be getting fuel filler pipe sorted as leaking

MAF failure can cause Pre96 cars to drop into limp mode without any error warnings.
If boost is only hitting 0.5 bar that's possibley the issue
