Turbo recommendations - newage wrx
Hi guys, haven't posted on here in a while.
Took my current turbo out on the weekend as the car was smokey on boost and I found loads of oil in the intercooler pipework. No play really but pretty sure the oil seals have gone and it also has a crack in the exhaust housing. Any recommendations for a turbo to replace my current VF48. I still have a standard wrx bottom end and have been running 350 bhp for the last few years without any issues. Would like the same sort of power with the same or slightly better spool. Sc36 or vf35 ran 336bhp no prob in my STi

Scooby clinic use blouch turbo... not heard of the two turbos you mentioned but I’m not up to speed with these things...

Blouch are sold by scoobyclinic as an sc range instead of what they are actually called but anyway here is a link to the blouch . Alot of the boys up here in scotland have been running kinugawa TD05 for years with no issues .

TD05 16G will run 340/350 2nd hand cheap replacement
Vf34/35 again the same, depends how much you want to spend really, all above can be had for sub £300

TD05 16g - I've heard some positive reviews of the Kinugwa versions.
