They live about 1 mile from the end of the runway at RAF Coningsby, Lincolshire.
These chaps are normally buzzing us in the garden as they go round and round practicing.

One took off from this end of the runway while we were there, full bore, afterburner from the word go, then straight up veritcle into the cloud base.....was bloody awsome (as per the Top Gear Buggati Race)...Oliver did video it, but came out blurred and he also cut short half the climb
