Default Bedford GT Track Day Dec 11th

£79 Sterling Pounds - bit of a bargain. Open track.

Gives me a few weeks to either get the Honda Track ready or maybe unleash the WR1 for track duties.

I am boooooooooked!

I'm interested... my mate with a 306 GTI6 is already booked on it too and been trying to convince me to do it as well.

Scoob is running again after turbo swap (thanks to Rob for giving up his weekend ) but have developed a nasty power steering whine/grinding. Hoping air got in when i loosened the banjo next to the inlet and a fluid flush will sort it, but trying to bleed it lock to lock hasn't worked. If that's sorted and there's still spaces, i'm in too.

Very cheap day, would love to go and always wanted to do this circuit.
Thinking on finishing my build in the next month so could be a good chance to test it.
Tempted to even just come out and hang if a few of you guys are going.

Yes mate, I saw that - snow chains?

Time to get the thermals out.

I wonder if they will pull it if it is snowing, doubt you can run in conditions like that. I pinged Dave Woodall - see what he says, but I'm sure they wont make a call until last min.

I'd still have a fun day, but they'd never allow a car out of the pitlane if there's any ice/snow on the track.... would be quite a fun drift practice sessions as loads of run-off there

Let us know what you hear back. Did you get the email the other day with the form to fill in (saves time on the morning?). It said on the email to keep an eye on Opentrack's facebook/twitter feed as they'd publish any news on there.

Had a Brands trackday cancelled 6 or 7 years ago in December when we had snow but rebooked it at no loss as it was called off before we drove up there. I'll be over £100 down on this one if its cancelled as going up Sunday evening with Greg and getting some food/drinks in Bedford & staying in a premier inn. Took the non-refundable room rate so save £20 when booking (seemed a bargain at the time ) and I'll have spent £30 on fuel by Sunday evening getting there before I know if its on or not.... we thought it was a good idea and saved us leaving home at 5am on the morning!

Well.... its cancelled.

Local roads are a nightmare at the moment. At least they made the call before we travelled up there!
