Met Office are showing the heavy rain arriving earlier now, so we should get to dry off during the last race before the drive home!

As much as I don't want to get really wet, I am hoping we get rain at some point in the day as it's bound to make things interesting out on track.

Yep, the two sites I use for forecasting are showing the rain coming in over Saturday evening/early Sunday morning with only the occasional light shower on Sunday daytime. Looking better

Hi everyone,

I deeply regret that due to ongoing family drama's that are currently unfolding I'm unable to make this event now neither.
Gutted is an understatement it seems this week has been a disaster!!

Hope you have a great time which I'm sure you will.

Some pics of the stand and day will go some way to cheering me up!

Very best
Simon.

Didn't bother cleaning the car today given the forecast tomorrow...

...just seen the latest forecast and it looks like the rain will pass over Brands before 7: might have to get a sponge out and clean it now!

Just cleaned mine in the dark and rain, hmm, not sure how productive that was.

Mine got a good clean this morning, then went to Blue Bell hill for the meet, then the Isle of Sheppey to see Ryan, then came home in the rain, it’s pretty grimy again...

Just back.Car unloaded, banners away (possibly for the last time in 2017), car can sit on the drive tonight in an attempt to dry out.
Thanks all for coming, I hope you all enjoyed the day and thankfully the rain held off till the end.

Was a great day, I openly admit to knowing very little about BTCC, I think I will attempt to make a change to that from now on, certainly seems a far more interesting and competitive Motorsport.

Thanks for organising everything today Scott, was awesome being able to drive the Scoobs (and Clio and Mondeo...) right in to the circuit for such a big event.

Great seeing everyone today, hope all manage to dry out and warm up, saying that we were pretty fortunate with the weather and the forecast was fairly accurate.

I'm pleased to finally make an SES meet this year! Many thanks for organizing Scott, much appreciated. Great day of racing, despite the weather and a good result for Subaru in the end!

Guess you all left at the end of the last race? I got back to my car and it was the only one left on the gravel!

Was a great day, would like to have seen a proper race for the championship in the last race but got the outcome we hoped for, really felt sorry for Turkington.
Thanks for organising Scott, cracking parking spot as well.

Watched this on tv and really enjoyed it. Like NL03Scooby didn't know much about BTCC, but will watch out for it next year.

Great day's racing. As above, felt sorry for Turkington as I'd have been cheering him on for the title win if he'd been up against anyone else (especially those pesky Hondas of Shedden/Neal!). But had to support Subaru really, Ash Sutton has had a great year and made his teammates look pretty poor really.

Thanks to Scott for organising, and for leaving tickets on the gate and space for me to park the daily barge on the stand. One day I'll get the scoob problems properly sorted...

Good to catch up with everyone!

We came late and had to leave early yesterday, so watched a bit of the action at the back end of the GP circuit and then gradually made our way round to the start/finish straight. By the time we got to the SES area it was raining and most people seemed to be hiding elsewhere! My boy was wondering why a couple of the cars (Steve_PPP and Ginola I think) had a pink 'i' badge on the front instead of a Subaru one?

Also was followed back down the hill by another blob wagon, we gave each other the thumbs up as we parted ways at the M20 roundabout outside Wrotham

Wasn't me, i was in the dirty grey mondeo as the scoob not worky

But the pink 'i' badge is a JDM thing, not sure where it came from though or the reason for it being i, other than standing for impreza?

Tell him to let me know if he needs it and I can drop it off, otherwise it can rattle around in my boot until the next meet.
